At Central Ohio Primary Care's (COPC) SameDay Centers, we provide convenient, high-quality care for COPC patients aged 18 and older, offering a faster, lower-cost alternative to urgent care clinics. As an extension of your COPC primary care provider (PCP), our SameDay Centers ensure shorter wait times, seamless access to your medical history, and affordable co-pays, all while keeping your PCP informed. Whether you're dealing with minor injuries, illnesses, or flare-ups of chronic conditions, we're here to help when your regular provider is unavailable.
Is SameDay Center care different from the emergency room or urgent care?
Yes! We treat non-emergent conditions and do not have the capacity to assist with severe injuries or illnesses. Like with all COPC health resources, our SameDay Centers can access your medical history and current treatment plans to ensure the most effective and efficient care possible and keep your COPC provider up to date.
Not sure if the SameDay Center is the right place to get care?
Call your primary care provider's office or reach Care Navigation at (614) 865-3125; they can help evaluate your needs and direct you where to get care.

Can I get X-rays or lab tests done here?
If the SameDay Center practitioner deems it necessary for diagnosis, those services will be utilized.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Our services are available to any COPC primary care patient 18 years of age or older. While appointments are not required, they are strongly recommended to be seen in a timely manner and to prepare our clinical team.
- Call your PCP's office. If your COPC provider is unavailable, the office can schedule a SameDay Center appointment for you, just call them!
- Check MyChart to see if it is possible to self-schedule online. If your regular PCP is available, a SameDay Center may not be visible as a possible scheduling option.
- After office hours, call Care Navigation. They can help evaluate your condition over the phone to determine where you should go to get care. Call Care Navigation at (614) 865-3125 anytime from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.
What are your hours of operation?
We have three SameDay Centers based in Reynoldsburg, Columbus, and Westerville; each location is open at least 10 a.m.- 8 p.m., check online for those with extended hours.
Do you accept my insurance?
At SameDay Centers, standard office co-pays apply, resulting in major savings compared to emergency rooms or urgent care facilities.
What are the costs if I don't have insurance?
A SameDay Center visit will cost the same as a standard office visit with your provider.
Will my primary care doctor be notified of my visit?
Yes, your COPC provider will be notified of your visit to a SameDay Center. All notes from that appointment will be added directly to your shared medical record so your PCP will stay updated on what's happening with your health and plan the next steps if needed.
How can I access my medical records after the visit?
You can find your medical records in MyChart; everything from the visit summary to the lab and imaging results will be available.
Do you provide follow-up care or referrals?
When needed, SameDay Center providers can help facilitate follow-up care with your regular primary care provider, another specialist, or service. If a test follow-up is necessary, they can do that as well if there is little availability at your office.
Can I get a doctor's note for work or school?
Yes, if you need a doctor's note after your visit that can be provided.
Choosing COPC SameDay Centers means getting timely, coordinated care for non-emergent conditions without the high costs and long waits of an emergency room or urgent care facility. Remember, if you need help understanding where you should go to get the care you need, call your PCP’s office or our Care Navigation team.
What about care for kids?
COPC primary care patients (newborn to 17-year-olds) can be seen at a Pediatric Support Center for non-emergent care needs. Appointments are required.
