About Tri-County Family Physicians
Welcome to Tri County Family Physicians
In 1976, our practice was established with the goal of providing quality medical care to members of all ages in our surrounding communities. Our highly skilled physicians have a passion for family medicine and serving patients from newborns to the elderly. In our efforts to provide a wide variety of resources for each of our patients we have diagnostic testing, laboratory services, radiology, EKG, hearing testing, and pulmonary function testing all on site.
Our Mission
Our pledge is to nurture the well-being of the individuals and families that we serve. We are dedicated to the preservation of health, the diagnosis of disease, the facilitation of healing, and the relief of suffering. Our mission is to assist our patients in the fulfillment of God’s purpose in their lives.
Prescription Policies and Information
Your physician will generally prescribe your long term medication in sufficient quantity to cover you until the time of your next appointment. Since many patients obtain their prescription medication from a mail order service, follow up visits should be scheduled early enough to give you time to get your medication renewed prior to running out. Some prescription benefit companies require certain non generic medication to be pre authorized which may delay the timeliness in getting your medication to you. We will work with them to provide the necessary medical information sufficient to get the prescription approved. We cannot guarantee that your medication will be approved by your insurance company. In the event you run out of medication prior to your next visit and require a short term prescription you may be charged for the renewal at the discretion of the physician. We do not accept faxed prescription requests from pharmacies. We have a prescription refill option available through our telephone system.
